Winemaker Notes

Dark red, the nose harmonises spice, anise and ripe black fruits . Dried mulberry, clove and cinnamon work beautifully within the firm yet subtle tannin structure on the palate.
This wine is all about balance and proportion from the vineyard to the bottle.

Viticulture

Sourced 100% from our Brickhouse Rd vineyard for this vintage. This vineyard sits atop an ancient floodplain of the Angas River, the soils are tight cracking clays that promote moderate vineyard vigour and an intensity in the fruit that can be seen year on year in the bottle. Vine age 22 years.
